Overview
In this section, we describe how we go from an elementary situation of life (eg the situation) to core life structural principles. Any attempt to build life situation ends up being a subcase of the said principles.
Steps
The diagram below is divided into 4 main steps, separated by a large vertical line.
- We explore the situation of life which brings the reader and the author together around the book. This serves as a first common shared situation on which to expand.
- When we expand outside of this situation, we end up with key structural identical elements.
- Every element which separate one life zone is itself located in a lived moment.
- The meaning of a given situation can be linearly deconstructed, e.g. things that give themselves as a complex compound, for instance a material object or an idea are actually structures of elementary life moments.
The core principle is that life stays in itself - what you’ve lived at one point acquires a position (a given place) in your future. It stays there as a lived perspective. –> From these elements, we attempt to rebuild our own individual space of meaning and put our philosophy to the test.
